Bridge barriers
Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 09:05, Tue 5 July 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3649277.
This is a bridge that is used by horse riders ans the barriers are too low. This is an accident waiting to happen. I personally had a very close call the other day as the rider I was with horse was spooked by a lorry transporting agricultural machinery causing it to go sideways into my horse which ended up with me getting pushed towards the barrier. With all of the housebuilding in the area more and more horses and riders are using the bridge. Also car drivers try to pass us on the bridge also meaning that we have to get close to the barriers. Please can this be looked at as a matter of urgency.
