Yellow speed camera flashing at random.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3631919.

The yellow speed camera to the left hand side between Junction 28 - 29 on the M25 is flashing at random. (HEADING TOWARDS DARTFORD FROM J28). It flashed in front of me with no traffic ahead. It also flashed behind me with no traffic behind. No speed limits shown on any gantry above the motorway for that whole stretch of road.

  • I drove past the same camera on the opposite side and the camera an hour later ans the camera was flashing at a few vehicles still.

  • I had the exact same issue tonight heading towards Dartford Tunnel (Just before junction 29) getting flashed twice doing 60 with no speed limits indicated on the gantry, why?

  • Speed limit on gantry showing 50MPH for road works between M25 junction 28 Brentwood and junction 29 for A127 flashing all vehicles travelling at 50MPH and slower. There were no roadworks on that stretch of road either. The roadworks were complete and all lanes were clear . This occurred at 03:50 a.m. Thursday 14th September 2023.
