  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the barriers on the A11. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Our safety barriers are only marginally higher than the safety barrier originally in place along this section of the A11. The barriers have been installed to protect motorists as well as our workers who are reconstructing the A11.

We understand your concern in regards to the animals. We have made the relevant department aware to look into this further.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards
