Pedestrian crossing Manchester Road Tintwistle

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3619895.

This is an ongoing problem. These lights favour the traffic. This morning I was stood waiting for the lights for almost 10 minutes so I could get my daughter to school. This risks children dashing across in to oncoming traffic due to fears they will be late. These lights only change when the traffic is clear which kind of defeats the purpose of them.

    Our inspectors have been out and reported no timing issue with the lights. They are going to reinspect later this week to ensure that they remain consistent.
