Diseased trees falling into road

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 13:14, Thursday 23 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There are approximately 20 chestnut trees, extremely tall and heavy, downwards along the left hand side (M23 side) of this lane (entrance from Turners Hill Road) starting past the Nuffield Gym and Crabbet Park stables leading to The Pavilions and Macro4. These are falling down causing blocked road, risks to people, cars, horses, damage to property and fencing. These are being cleared up one by one by private funds but we are worried about the threat to life. We've just realised that they belong to National Highways so we need you to halve or remove them asap. Not ALL the trees in the wooded copse bordered by the M23 as that protects noise, just the chestnut trees lining the lane please.
