No road markings where traffic merges

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 15:51, Wed 22 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3615903.

Where the slip road from the eastbound exit junction 5 of the M2 meets northbound traffic on the A249 on the Stockbury roundabout the road marking have been virtually erased causing two merging lanes of traffic to come together with no guidance of who has the right of way. Surprised that there has no been a serious collision to date. Has got progressively worse since roadworks have commenced.
