Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 21:06, Tue 21 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3613910.

Coming from M606 ( North Bound) you enter A6177 as you turn right there are three lanes the right hand lane has overgrown foliage / trees almost blocking lane three. I drive my car and HGV along this road and need to Either use Lane two and cut over or use both Lane two and three when I HGV.

Updates

  • Dear Sir or Madam

Thank you for contacting us by Fix My Street on 21 June about overgrown vegetation at the M606/A6177 junction.

I’ve passed this onto our maintenance team who are in agreement that the vegetation at this location does require cutting back. We’re looking at cutting this back substantially which may require multiple visits. Based on the location, this will likely require traffic management to be arranged also. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Thank you again for contacting us. If there is anything we can help you with, please email or telephone our Contact Centre. They’re available 24 hours a day by phone: 0300 123 5000 or by email info@nationalhighways.co.uk. Alternatively, please visit the National Highways website at nationalhighways.co.uk.

    Kind regards
