Pothole with sunken loose manhole cover

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 11:17, Tuesday 21 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is a pothole with a sunken/loose manhole cover which is making a continuous, relentless and intrusive noise (plus vibration) when vehicle tyres go into the pothole. This has been present for quite a few weeks now. This is happening all through the day and the night too. This is especially bad at night, as the A5 remains busy with HGV's all through the night and as they go over the pothole at speed, with no traffic queues to slow them down, the intrusion is immense and is affecting my sleep.
