Traffic lights do not allow traffic out of the retail park

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 22:45, Monday 20 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

The traffic lights at the four way have been dangerously reprogrammed. They do not let traffic out of the retail park. I witnessed the traffic on the Daltongate side given at least four cycles out onto the A590 whilst the traffic on the retail park was not allowed out. In the end the vehicles in the retail park ignored the traffic lights and made their way onto the main road. This was at 22:00, when the road was very quiet. I have been told that earlier in the day it was taking vehicles more than half an hour to get onto the main road
