Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
A21 had works by the Flmwell/A21 lights that were turned off whilst work commenced. Clearly the lights when turned on were out of sync causing massive delays. A radio announcement was made this morning reporting 15 minute delays from Hawkhurst to A21 direction. East Sussex highways informed me that they too have reported this fault to you last week due to the volume of complaints they were receiving. There are imminent rail strikes which will cause larger volumes of traffic on the roads. The A21 is the main road in this part of Sussex connecting Hastings through to London with the B2087 & A268 being routes to Wadhurst, Crowborough, Frant , Cranbrook & Maidstone.
