Ash Dieback

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3608784.

The A449 between the M54 and A5 is flanked by a large number of mature Ash trees. Unfortunately, many of these trees appear to be showing the first signs of being infected with Ash dieback disease. The two Ash trees to the southwest of the A449 Standeford junction are good examples of this. Are these trees being regularly inspected? Is there an agreed threshold for when the trees will be felled to stop any catastrophic limb failure onto the carriageway, footpaths and neighbouring dwellings?
