Overgrown public walkway along A31 from Verwood slip road to B338 slip road

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 20:02, Fri 17 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3605090.

The public walkway is well used by residents and school children but is getting really overgrown and becoming increasingly difficult to walk down or pass anyone coming in the opposite direction ( been like this for a couple of months). Trees/bushes are overhanging, lots of stinging nettles, and grass verges have grown over the path. Please could this all be cut back. Thankyou

  • The footpath has not been cleared. Once the a31 works are complete the bus stop will be put back on the B3081/a31 eastbound slip road. This path is not cleared. Residents use it to catch the bus. Wheelchair users and blind children. This path is not accessible. I can send you a video of the path.
