M1 Drainage channels all overgrown and blocked by detritus and weeds

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 12:14, Wednesday 15 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

The drainage channels along this part of the M1 are clearly blocked with years of detritus and silt and all overgrown by grass. Never been cleaned by your Area contractor with a sweeper or drain sucktion truck and so surface water is more of a problem than it should be in heavy rain. Why does the contractor get away with doing Zero preventative maintenance on this stretch of M1 smart motorway!?
