Loose drain cover lid

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3596583.

Every time a vehicle goes over it, it makes a loud noise. Not great to keep hearing in the day but even worse in the night.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about a noisy manhole cover at the top of Berriedale Drive on the A27.

    Our inspector reviewed this issue during his safety inspection on 15 June and established that the cover isn't our asset and belongs to Southern Water.

    These details have been passed to our Utilities Team who will contact Southern Water requesting their attendance to investigate and arrange suitable repairs or cover replacement.
