National speed limit within roadwork section starting from junction 12 to exit slip-road diversion at junction 13 at Worsley.
Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 11:40, Tue 14 June 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3595399.
On Monday 13th June, at around 23:50, roadworks had been started on M60 clockwise from junction 12. Only one lane had remained open, whilst two lanes had closed, and the motorway from junction 13 onwards was closed completely. However, between junction 12 and junction 13, roadworks were put in place yet no temporary speed limit signs had been issued to state that the speed limit would be decreased from the national speed limit. This included both the smart motorway overhead gantries and at the roadside. A speed limit should be introduced or was unfortunately not put in place at the time. But, it seemed quite dangerous for both road users and workmen that were present further down the motorway at junction 13.
