Shameful road closure during the day

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3589569.

Cannot believe you've decided to close the A1 Northbound at the A6121 all day on a Sunday. Why is this necessary? This has caused bottleneck congestion through Stamford. National Highways isn't one of your jobs to keep traffic moving? This again just highlights the shear incompetence that you as an agency continue to show throughout the network. You aren't fit for purpose, and the fact that tax payers pay for this incompetence makes it even worse.
