Underpass Bollards have been removed

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 11:08, Fri 10 June 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3585734.

Reporting on behalf of local residents using the underpass, underpass itself has been identified as Highways England. The bollards that used to stop vehicular traffic have been removed from this underpass, there are now motorbikes and other small vehicles using it as a through "road" endangering public usage, video footage has been recorded of 30mph bikes racing through. Can it be advised if the bollard removal is temporary and when they will be reinstated? Or what options are available for the reinstatement for public safety. Underpass connects Sheridan Rd and St Pancras Rd. Thank you
