Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3558279.

After road work on this section, the crossing is now much improved, seems to be measuring traffic flow and spotting gaps, and activates much earlier for pedestrians.

  • Signage around slip road is incorrect! Roadworks/temporary cones, very confusing in the dark, no road markings. Sign suggests slip road continues to it’s own lane on the A12 but this is not the case, you merge into the left lane. It’s not safe to cross this lane of traffic to enter the right lane but sign appears to suggest this is possible! Nearly caused a pile up yesterday - 26th Nov 2022
