Thank you for contacting National Highways.
We are aware of the issue regarding street lighting on the M5.
Our inspector has reviewed this issue. We currently have road works on Junction 6. I can confirm that the street lighting has been turned off at Junctions 7-8 as part of a trial.
We will continue to review this and will arrange any required work if the situation changes.

1: What is the "trial" for junction 7-8 2: Will the central reservation lighting J6-7 be replaced at all within the course of the barrier works and thereafter?
The answer given hasn't covered all of it.
Thank you

`1: J6-7 did have it's original lighting column heads replaced with led lighting a couple of years ago only for it to now all be taken down so will this stretch be replaced?
2: Also what is this "trial" exactly with the stretch from J7-8 that remains off!
Your not even reading the question I am asking properly, your just repeating what I already know hence.
