I am contacting you due to the fact that the current traffic chaos around Polegate has resulted in my daughter being late for her first GCSE exam notwithstanding the fact that they left home an hour earlier than normal to try and prevent this happening.

Can you please confirm if the current chaos is on your radar as an urgent issue to resolve as this is having a huge impact. It is hard to understand who would approve such intrusive work during the exam period and also that the work is not prioritised to be carried out on a 24/7 basis to limit the duration and impact.
