Disgraceful littering from YOU

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3527501.

Absolutely disgraceful, roadworks finished months ago... all the road work equipment simply dumped everywhere. This behaviour from your workers is a national disgrace. You should be held accountable, taken to court and heavily fined for this clear disregard of tax payers money and continued littering/flytipping. You contribute so much to roadside litter with your equipment and debris thrown onto the verges/central reservations and left. Shame on you National Highways.

  • Thank you for your report concerning the traffic management equipment at this location.

    The traffic management on the central reservation at Junction 1 of the M27 is currently there for contingency purposes related to the Smart Motorway scheme. The scheme is currently still in its technology testing stage. Should we come across any technology issues during this phase, the traffic management will be quickly re-deployed for the safety of the travel public using the network.
