MESSAGE SENT BY EMAIL - 12 MAY [16:40] "Churncote Island at Bicton Heath. Any chance of cutting back trees on that island, making it tidy, as you can hardly see cars coming round the island until it is too late, or don't you bother with traffic islands out of town, just the ones that the Britain In Bloom see."
Thank you for your report about the overgrown trees.
We have raised this with our inspectors to be investigated at the first possible opportunity.
Based on your description we believe this may be a safety critical issue. We aim to provide an update within 48 hours to confirm that the issue has been reviewed and whether remedial work was required to make the area safe along with details of any further repair work which is required.
Although we always try to respond to these reports in the quickest time possible, we would ask that anything of a safety critical nature be raised with our Customer Contact Centre directly. They are available 24 hours a day, on 0300 123 5000. This will ensure we process any such report as soon as it is received.
