Concrete fence posts and fencing missing. Parsonage Barn Lane, Ringwood, Hants

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 17:00, Tue 10 May 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3516169.

A car went through the fencing over 3 or more years ago. It broke one concrete post in half and took one more out of the ground. Over the years the chain link fencing has been crushed and broken so it is no longer protecting the area behind it.

  • The metal fence/ barrier between Eastfield Lane and A31 has been driven into at speed by a potential drunk driver. This has been reported to Hampshire Police. The barrier is now completely bent. Please can this be repaired or even better replaced with something that doesn't look like we live in a prison camp. The existing barrier was completely inappropriate for a residential area anyway. Planting some trees there would be far better. Many thanks.
