Dangerous roadworks on M3 eastbound junction 3
Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 20:45, Sat 30 April 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3493677.
There doesn't seem to be good signage warning of roadworks ahead on the eastbound approach to junction 3, and the speed limit may still be the national speed limit. The signs at the junction still show a fourth lane joining when in fact that lane is closed and coned off and joining traffic needs to merge with the existing lanes. This is of course extremely dangerous.

On approach (from Jn4, westbound) the smart signs show X X (40) (40) "Obstruction" - everyone, barring a couple of exceptions, moved over to the two outside lanes. After passing Junction 3, ONE sign showed the national speed limit sign. There was no obstruction. There was no sign of a previous obstruction.
