Overhanging vegetation on cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 11:31, Sat 30 April 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3492920.

The narrow section of the cycle path between oat field lane and saxondale drive is impeded by low hanging trees and vegetation growing into the cycle path partially obstructing it. It is rather dangerous as this is a narrow section of the path and it forces the cyclist to go closer to the edge of the path near the road, as well as having to duck down to avoid the branches. Some of the vegetation is also at eye level so would risk hitting someone in the eye if they weren’t paying attention.
