M1 Barrier

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3492412.

I have travelled past this broken barrier for nearly 2 years and it has not been fixed on the M1 going North between Dirft and Lutterworth Blue post number 135

  • Good afternoon. I am sorry for the delay in the repair of the barrier. We are currently waiting for it to be designed and will hope to reinstate it as soon as possible.

  • They have lifted the barrier to show movement, but is still a hazard. If as they say they are waiting for it to be redesigned then the travelling public have been at risk for approximately 2 years and will continue to be so. Please, please DO NOT use Covid as an excuse for this breakdown in design confusion. Also I noticed some on the South bound that is at least as old if no older damage, redesign again I expect!!!!
