Drain cover travelling west towards bere regis

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3479963.

This cover had work we think around 12months ago, as it had collapsed. Whilst it isnt as bad as last time when the police considered it dangerous after our report, we have noticed it is audible again, even above the adjacent construction noise. We take this to mean it probably needs looking at again.

  • The drain cover is loose and rattles every time a vehicle travels along the road . It urgently needs repairing . The noise is unacceptable for residents .

  • Collapsed at 4:10am. Phoned your team at 6:10am now we can see it in daylight. Extremely dangerous as triangular metail piece of cover protruding directly up into the road. Hopefully your attendance on scene asap as extremely dangerous, silver lining we no longer getting the awful noise. Hopefully this now wont get ignored.
