There is very heavy litter needing clearing from the verges and embankments at A1(M) jct 35. This litter has not been addressed during any other programmed works recently.

    Thank you for your report on Fix My Street of litter on verges and embankments at the A1(M) at junction 35.

    We can confirm that the A1(M) is due for litter picking at junction 35 starting in June 2022.

    Litter picking is generally undertaken on an annual basis. There are some sections of our network which have been identified for enhanced litter picking, with some areas planned to be litter picked 2 to 3 times per year.
