Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding temporary speed limit signs and confusion it is causing to drivers on the road. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We are currently undergoing works in Bradwell at night. The 10mph signs are placed in front of the normal 40mph signs which get turned down when maintenance team finish their work each night.

The 10mph signs are only up when the maintenance team are doing their works on the road. The signs are there for the safety of the crew doing the road works at night as the lane becomes quite narrow with the crew working quite close.

We will continue to monitor this and will make any reasonable adjustments when required.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards
