Users are moving into wrong lanes.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3468453.
Signs and road markings show traffic from M4 WB can use all 3 lanes to turn NB onto A419. Users in lane 2 and 3 are drifting across chosing to follow road markings intended for traffic coming from a419 South onto M4 WB.

You can use all three lane to go onto the A419. Just be more alert to other road users who don't know what they are doing. The National Highways are not going to change it.

Currently, the signage and road markings at this junction are correct according to the Highway Code. This issue seems to be a problem with driver behaviour, and as we are not an enforcement agency, we are regrettably unable to act on poor driver behaviour. We recommend that any incidents should be reported to the police. Regardless, we will continue to monitor this area and will arrange any work if the situation changes.
