Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding flooding on the Capel St Mary underpass. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We have checked back with our pumping station sub-contractor and confirm that he was alerted via the pumping station alarm of a failure and has attended site to review the fault.

On this occasion the pumping station is not at fault and the power has been turned off deliberately. The contractor has now turned the power back on.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
