Tollbar End roundabout A45 - A46

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3441675.

Lane Markings worn away. These markings are essential for effective operation of the roundabout, and in places they have completely worn away. This has clearly been reported a number of times, and sufficient time has passed to enable a permanent solution to be implemented, let alone temporary fixes, and I suspect some liability could start attaching to those responsible for the maintenance in case of a serious incident. At the very least, the absence of markings is making this road inaccessible to less confident drivers. Please can you address this issue as a matter of urgency. Many Thanks

  • Thank you for your report concerning faded road markings.

    We're aware of this and are trying to determine an opportunity to refresh the markings. With the major projects works in progress on the A46 in this area, it's an issue to find when the A46 isn't closed which will allow us to carry out the works. We can't have the A46 and Toll Bar roundabout closed at the same time.
