Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding damaged fencing on the A12 at Chitts Hill. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

The local route inspector is going to inspect the location and install some temporary mesh fencing if necessary. This has not been categorised as a safety issue at present as the boundary fencing is only there to define land ownership (not anti dazzle or anti climbing etc), therefore permanent replacement is yet to be planned.

Thank you again for contacting us. If you need more information about this, please feel free to contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 500 or by email at info@highwaysengland.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
