Traffic lights not working again M27 J3

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3420082.

Yet again the traffic signals on M27 J3 are not working, they haven't been working for nearly 1 week! When are they going to be fixed? This is dangerous!

  • The lights are not working this afternoon. I nearly got taken out by a car coming off the M27 (i was on the roundabout going onto M271 south) which didn't stop. With the amount of lorries heading to the Docks, this is really dangerous. the lights failed on the other side not long ago and were out for over a week. Something is wrong with the electrics somewhere

  • Lights at junction 3 M27 not been working for over a week. Accident waiting to happen and causing chaos. Why has this not been sorted ? Needs to be repaired immediately.

  • Traffic lights not working at this junction. Highly dangerous. Near miss this evening with a car that came up the slipway from M27 and entered roundabout at speed without any regard for traffic already on roundabout. Collision narrowly avoided by taking evasive action. Lorry did similar two nights ago. Dense shrubbery blocks views for cars on roundabout and those on M27 slip road, which further compounds the safety concerns. Lights not been working all week and this is a serious accident waiting to happen.

  • The lights on the slip road off the M27 onto the M271 are still not working this morning. At the very least, shouldn't there be transport police managing traffic flow? This is dangerous and has been faulty for some time.

  • Lights off again on the westbound exit on junction3, causing huge tailbacks on the M27 westbound. Really dangerous and completely clogging up the motorway. This needs to be fixed now.
