Fallen trees

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3409040.
Specific location ..... Extending the full length of the layby and also a fair way beyond both ends is mature mixed planting. The road level is elevated above the neighbouring farmland so there's an embankment that descends down to the boundary with the field. And the boundary is very close to the edge of the field. if you walk from one end of the copse to the other you'll see several trees down following the recent stormy weather. There's also a large tree down following a crash. None affect road safety but the whole area really needs a quick once over by a clearance crew with chainsaws and a shredder as there's been zero maintainance over the years apart from ensuring no encroachment onto the layby. I only know this because I've been clearing the whole area of litter every month without exception for the last 4 years as it had reached ridiculous levels [and is actually getting worse] Sadly these laybys are now little more than general waste tips and human sewers So I suppose I'm basically just asking for a little help from you to help me keep on top of it. As it just makes it so much more difficult trying get the rubbish out from all the mangled dead branches -and i can only do so much ! FOOTNOTE - laybys next to wooded ground that falls away 2 metres in places are a particularly bad idea. As they give people all the cover they need for an open air toilet ie. we don't just get the usual bottles full of urine and plastic bags full of faeces. We also get loads of loose wet wipes and paper covered in faeces. So if you take pity on me tell your guys to wear wellies -and,no,I'm really not joking ! Oh what a wonderful world we live in. Thanks for your patience
