Littering is a social problem across the country. Millions of customers travel on our network daily and despite our best efforts to clear it, our network quickly becomes littered with rubbish from vehicles and unsecured loads. We’ve recently assessed and graded our whole network and jobs will be raised to clear litter from all problem areas. We’ll aim to complete the work on the M65 within the next six weeks. Some areas may require traffic management to help keep our workforce safe, and it can take some time to gain approval for this. Thank you for your patience while we schedule this work.

I think the problem will never be solved until drivers start getting fined for littering or identified and made to clear it up!
