Severe pothole on inside lane of westbound A12 approx 1 mile before junction with M25

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3400725.

Severe pothole - if you hit it at A road speeds it's a big bang (we've done it twice now). Could very easily cause a blow out or wheel damage.

  • I hit it this morning about 0600hrs. Have destroyed the tyre and possibly the wheel. Am getting suspension checked for damage too.

    This pothole was filled on Tuesday 22nd March and the repair is still intact. The local route inspector is continuing to monitor the condition of the road surface closely.
