Thank you for contacting National Highways about (issue raised).
Our local inspector has been made aware of the locations of concerns he has raised jobs for clearance. I’ve been advised that we are working closely with Kier, our maintenance partner and have followed up with them to raise additional jobs to be carried out. Currently, we've raised jobs for litter picking to be completed within the next month at junction 7 slip road on the M20.
National highways are only responsible for clearing the slip roads and the main carriageway, all other roads that intersect with National Highways roads are the responsibility of the local authority, which includes the responsibility of clearing litter at the roundabouts on the M20.
