  • The M5 junction 3 roundabout road markings are misleading and dangerous. If you’re driving down Manor Way, towards junction 3, and want to join the M5 southbound (towards Bromsgrove) the road markings show you should stay in the outside lane. Once you get to the set of traffic lights before the Quinton Expressway the road markings still say you should be in the outside lane, but that lane doesn’t filter off onto the motorway slip road and leads to cars squeezing in and moving rapidly to get onto the slip road. If you stayed in this lane you would end up going back down Manor Way. Looking at satellite maps shows that you’re expected to cross 3 lanes, from the outside to the inside lane if you follow the road markings. It’s very dangerous for people who don’t know the roundabout and this needs to be solved
