Pedestrian crossing on Manchester road, Tintwistle.

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 15:49, Fri 11 March 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3380934.

These are not working for the pedestrians. The button turns itself off after a few seconds. I stood there on both sides today for approximately 15 minutes repeatedly pressing the button. They are also traffic controlled as opposed to pedestrian controlled and therefore they won’t turn red until the road is traffic free. This will not work when the Mottram moor is closed for 20 weeks and the traffic is backing up!
