Traffic Lights not working
Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 21:02, Wed 9 March 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3375979.
The traffic lights have been out for the past 2 weeks, causing tailbacks on to the motorway for 2-3 miles. This is creating dangerous driving conditions and I can’t understand why they haven’t been fixed as a matter of urgency?!

Lights still not working on J15 roundabout. This has been over 2 weeks. Problem is now exacerbated by temporary traffic lights on Plough Hill towards Marlborough. This is causing delays on both sides of the motorway with traffic unable to exit at the junction and delays on the A419. There will be an accident if this is not resolved soon!

10/3/2022 Lights not working and coming off the M4 westbound towards Swindon traffic on the roundabout is very fast and heavy making it very dangerous to pull out from the slip road onto the roundabout. As this has been going on for a fortnight, surely temporary traffic light could be erected as a safety measure until the permanent light are repaired.

Thank you for your report concerning faulty traffic lights at M4 J15.
We’re aware of the broken lights. The issue was caused by a traffic collision, and we are working with the local authorities to repair the damage. The area has been made safe, and we are now working on fixing the lights themselves.
Kind regards
National Highways
