Traffic lights dangerous and timing unacceptable for crossing

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 09:55, Tue 8 March 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3370991.

These crossing lights (on a bicycle route from Norwich to Wymondham) take an extremely long time to change for pedestrians and cyclists. They also appear to change in sync with green lights for traffic coming from Norwich, who have only limited time to see the crossing and who are accelerating rapidly in order to join the A47 (W). This has led to incidents where vehicles fail to stop, as well as cyclists and pedestrians crossing on a red light as it appears to be safer.
