The wooden fence rails at the Lapwing Lane side of the footbridge are being smashed to bits a section at a time. Anyone or thing can get down the embankment onto the M60.

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 23:04, Sun 6 March 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3367190.

The fencing was repaired a while back but has subsequently been vandalised again on both sides of the footpath for half its length. I reported it in January but the file is closed apparently.
