Signage for access to A419 from J15 WESTBOUND

The traffic lights have been out westbound at this junction for a number of days, it is causing havoc at rush hour with long queues back onto the motorway. It is not helped that people do not know they can use all 3 lanes to go to A419 - this causes lane 3 to be very busy and there is a lack of awareness of the lane markings on the roundabout leading to some very near misses - can signage be improved (there is only 1 sign just by the roundabout on the LHS, its not clear for people expecting to go right towards A419 that they can use all 3 lanes - and that lane 3 becomes the merge in turn lane!).

  • Thank you for your report concerning faulty traffic lights at M4 J15.

    We’re aware of the broken lights. The issue was caused by a traffic collision, and we are working with the local authorities to repair the damage. The area has been made safe, and we are now working on fixing the lights themselves.
