Missing White Lines completely faded away

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 12:15, Tue 1 March 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3353089.

There used to be clear white lines at this Junction coming off Brook Street, but the lines began to fade in 2016, and in the last couple of years the lines have completely faded away, and there has been no repainting of the lines for years.

As a result of the missing white lines, vehicles sometimes stop too far out from the junction bringing them in to conflict with fast oncoming traffic coming off the A12.

Can the White Lines be repainted back please.

Regards, Dominic Naylor.

Updates

  • Was contacted via phone by National Highways for more information. I supplied the requested information by email as requested.

A red pop-up sign went up by the junction which reads "No Road Markings".

But the actual issue has not been resolved.
