Multiple deep potholes on the slip road on M54 Junction 5 Westbound towards Shewsbury

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 16:32, Mon 28 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3351151.

The potholes have been present more than 4 months. Over past couple of months the issue has progressively gotten worse and since the storms a few weeks ago it has gotten far worse, becoming increasingly difficult to avoid without going into the next lane. I imagine that this slip road gets uses heavily as it connects neighbouring Shrewsbury. This could cause issues to most cars due to the depth & quantity of the potholes.

  • This issue is still here and has not been fixed, report above stating it’s been fixed is incorrect as there are still many holes and an uneven road surface
