  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the deceased cat on the A11 between Thickthorn and Ketteringham. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    I appreciate how distressing it can be for our customers to see animal remains lying by the side of the road. We routinely remove such remains when they are found in the live carriageway and always endeavour to repatriate pets if their owners can be identified through microchip implant technology. The route inspector has been made aware of the deceased animal at this location.
