M32 j2-3 40mph speed limit?

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 22:08, Wed 23 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3339488.

When is the speed limit on this stretch be going back to 60 (or 50) as been told it would be reviewed/temporary but it's been left like so for over 8 years. Travelling on this stretch is more dangerous since it was reduced from 60 as the variation of speed between vehicles is too greater resulting in increased danger (i.e mixing much slower >40mph with much faster 50/60/70+mph more common place)

This should be a gradual reduction (not just the very short 60 on the inbound) but a longer step by step reduction/increase both north and south (example NSL down to 60/50 down to 40/30/20 and vise versa going outbound) rather than a sudden 30/40+ drop in speed else it results in careless behaviour from motorists.
