Street lighting M32 j2

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 22:02, Wed 23 February 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3339479.

What is going on regarding the street lighting on the M32 north of Junction 2 (north and south) particularly the north (backing onto Gatton/New Gatton Road) Many have been out (bulb) for over a year at least.

Wondered if they will be replaced as the area is dark and it's a busy used area for pedestrians day and night and can be dodgy/high risk of crime during hours of darkness, not even in the winter evening rush hour when it's busy which is bad.

If they are being replaced with led light heads is it possible for me to obtain the old light heads as I am interested in collecting heritage/old street lighting?

Thank you
