Traffic lights moving to "green" for Netherne Drive even when no vehicles are waiting to exit. This is causing delay on the A23. Observed around 8pm on Saturday evening.

I slow my 44 tonne fully loaded artic down to a stop to then have to reaccelerate up to speed again whilst absolute NO traffic emerges from netherne drive or star lane majority at night!! Absolute lions led by lambs in this country! How stupid can you lot really be? Justin Tanner 07540 124331

The sensors are not picking up vehicles waiting to turn into netherne drive so vehicles are waiting 15 mins or so then jumping the lights

Sensor not picking up cars turning right onto netherne drive. I had to wait 10 minutes before eventually having to drive through the red light as cars behind were furiously tooting their horns at me.

Sensor not picking up cars turning right onto netherne drive. Waited approx 8mins over the sensor and 4 changes if lights, then decided to drive further up the A23 and found a roundabout so that I could come back up the A23 and turn left on to netherne drive. Note that the car that was behind when I was waiting to turn right me was still waiting to turn right at the lights.

Still an issue this evening 22.03.22.
If cars don’t pull right up to the line the sensor does not pick them up and the lights don’t let you turn right into Netherne Drive.
This needs to be escalated and fixed urgently before there is an accident.

Cars are now jumping the lights as they are taking over 10 minutes to change and only change if the car is over the line. If the sensor can’t be fixed asap could a sign be placed next to the light explaining this to prevent accidents. This is becoming very dangerous, people are getting out of their cars to tell the car in front to pull forward.

Sensors not picking up cars turning into Netherne. It can sometimes take ages with the lights going through every other cycle multiple times.

These lights take a long time to change for vehicles entering or exiting Netherne Drive and sometimes do not change at all. This problem has been reported numerous times and we keep getting told that it has been fixed.

Sensor is still not picking up when turning left into netherne drive have to drive well over white line to pick up the sensor, still cars jumping the red light.

Sensor at lights not picking up cars wanting to turn right onto Netherne Drive. End up having to jump red light which is dangerous. This has been going on for weeks.

Lights are taking ages to change when trying to turn left or right onto the A23 from Netherne Drive. Also when in the filter lane, trying to turn right into Netherne drive from the A23, the lights take even longer even when there are large gaps in the oncoming traffic and sometimes they do not change at all, forcing people to drive through a red light.

Turning right from netherne drive onto a23 the lights are not picking you up and having to wait 2-3 cycles and reversing up and down to try to trigger lights. Turning right with filter light from a23 into netherne drive the sensor is not picking up risking accidents and injury with people going through red lights.

Turning right into Netherne drive is always a problem. The lights don’t seem to detect that there is cars waiting or the timers on the lights are not working

The traffic lights to turn right to Netherne Drive take an extremely long time to change and same when coming from Netherne Drive to turn onto A23. Also there is no yellow hatched box at the bottom of the hill, so many times the traffic from Netherne Drive is blocked from queueing traffic on A23, this needs to be addressed urgently.

Still not working, long delays

Constant long delays turning right in to Netherne Drive. Waited at least 3 light changes and was being tooted from frustrated drivers behind me. In the end had to jump the light (when safe). This problem has been ongoing for weeks. An accident waiting to happen.

Long delays in turning right up to Netherne Drive, which in turn causes delays when trying to turn out of Netherne Drive as those lights follow the right turn ones.

Again this afternoon waiting to turn right into Netherne Drive and our sequence was missed out waiting 10 minutes for our turn

Sensor on lights when turning right into Netherne Drive are always an issue! Flashing main beams occasionally works, but it's issual to sit for an age then have to jump when red! Please sort it out!!!!

Turning right onto Netherne Drive takes ages. Sometimes it's sequence and have waited 8 minutes. Flashing beans sometimes work. Please can this be looked at.

So slow at changing holding traffic up

Some times they are stuck for at least 5 minutes when turning right to go up the hill
